Was a customer of padeffke for many years. Good baked goods and super friendly service staff. Then I saw the driver unload a branch in town a few times. Incredibly, I lost my appetite. There are a dozen pigeons sitting on the boxes with the baked goods and even "in" the delivery vehicle. And the driver even feeds the pigeons. Incredible.

Normally I would give 5 stars for breakfast here. I was here this morning and it tasted very good as always. The only thing I didn't think was okay with hygiene. The entire time the employees arrived without washing their hands. Cleaned, cashed, breakfast prepared. Everything done on the side. Probably to be quick. I find that disgusting even without corona hygiene measures. But today I should also observe a few extra details .. A man sits at the table who is coughing into his hand the whole time. When he is done he takes the slip of paper (where you have to sign in) and the pen and brings them to the employee. She is preparing breakfast, she picks up the stuff, tidies up and carries on. What good is it to wash my hands and wear the mask when the saleswoman distributes all viruses nicely?

For weeks you have observed that the employees are totally overwhelmed. You wait too long for your breakfast because there are not enough staff. The same employees who prepare breakfast have to assign tables and clean them, which leads to very long waiting times. You won't get a quick breakfast here. The queues are usually far too long and the distance cannot be maintained because the staff take far too long to accompany the customers to the table and have to clean the tables again and again. This saves too much on staff. But there is another bakery opposite you can also have breakfast during the corona season, I definitely do not recommend Padeffke to you. The notes where you have to fill out are still on the tables forever until they are cleared away. There is no such thing as data protection at this bakery. Therefore, when visiting, do not fill out your correct data unless you want everyone to have your number email name etc. The management should be ashamed to save employees. Ordnungsamt Balingen should take a look at the processes in this shop

Coffee & cake were delicious, friendly staff, but only cash payment is possible and the waiting time is too long despite self-service.

I have been here at padeffke several times and have never been disappointed. The selection of pasta and freshly baked rolls is gigantic, the breakfast is balanced and absolutely sufficient. The coffee variations are always freshly prepared and don't just come from a fully automatic machine - you can just taste it.

I don't like that they serve you and touch money and then give you food with hands . They don't use gloves. That is not appropriate and not hygienic. It's too expensive for that kind of service.

A modern and cozy coffe shop with big windows. In summer there are small tables outside. The best thing is a variety of breakfasts they offer! This is a must go place on a relaxing Sunday morning!
